Bio

The Rebound Remnants are what remain of an eight piece group that originally started out as a middle of the road rock band. The current and original members of the band are Ignazio Marino from Stony Plain Alberta, and Mario Maio and Colin Presizniuk from Edmonton.

The group’s main concentration is modern country rock. However, some songs lend themselves to Christian/Gospel. Main influences have been artists such as Roy Orbison, The Beatles, Rolling Stones, and more recently, rocking country artists such as Brooks & Dunn and Big and Rich. The Remnants songs are all written and arranged by Ignazio Marino, who is also the lead singer. Mario performs on bass and vocals, while Colin drives on rhythm guitar and back up vocals.

The band’s focus is mainly writing, arranging, and recording their own songs, and are working with such notable local musicians as Larry Guthrie and Wayne Saunders. “I’ve Got A Secret” is the group’s second album, while Ignazio has recorded three previous solo albums.
